Acquisition interest

Make sale intent clear before a buyer starts a conversation.

A Product can be marked open to acquisition with a clear description of what a proposed sale includes and excludes.

Sale scope

The owner chooses the assets and rights included in a potential sale, such as source code, domains, brand IP, documentation, infrastructure, database rights and contractual rights.

The same scope can seed an Auction lot later so buyers are not shown two conflicting versions of the proposed sale.

Private interest

Interested buyers initiate private correspondence. Expressing interest is not a completed sale and does not create an ownership transfer.

Verification

Sale availability is gated by Product verification and coherent inclusion/exclusion settings so a public sale signal is not ambiguous.

Auctions are separate

An Auction adds its own terms, bidding rules, reviewed lot snapshot and conclusion workflow. Open acquisition interest does not automatically create an Auction.
