Completed purchases are final
Once Showcase has correctly delivered the purchased ticket, boost, subscription entitlement, or other digital benefit to the purchasing account, the purchase is final and is not ordinarily refundable. A change of mind, failure to attend an Event, or later non-use of a delivered entitlement does not by itself create a refund right.
When a refund may be considered
A refund may be considered where payment was successfully captured but Showcase did not deliver or correctly honour the purchased entitlement, and our automated and manual reconciliation process cannot repair that fulfilment against the same successful purchase. We do not require a customer to pay a second time to repair a valid successful purchase.
Repair comes first
Successful payments are recorded durably and fulfilment is retried idempotently against the same order. For Event tickets, host revenue is not released merely because payment succeeded. The ticket and registration must first be durably verified for the purchaser. If fulfilment is temporarily delayed, Showcase will keep reconciling the same purchase rather than creating a new charge.
Event organizer obligations
This policy covers Showcase platform purchase fulfilment. Event organizers remain responsible for the Event they publish, including the accuracy of schedules, venue information, and any organizer commitments. Organizer cancellations, legal rights, card-network rules, payment-provider rules, and other mandatory consumer protections may create separate obligations that this policy does not exclude.
Duplicate or unauthorized charges
A duplicate charge, an unauthorized charge, or a payment-provider error is reviewed separately from ordinary purchase fulfilment. Contact Showcase promptly so we can reconcile the provider records and the related order.
How we assess a claim
We review the payment record, order, purchaser account, fulfilment evidence, ticket or entitlement state, and payment-provider records. Where the purchase can still be correctly fulfilled, we will normally repair it instead of refunding it. Where correct fulfilment cannot be completed, the payment remains with the platform until the appropriate refund or other resolution is completed.
